A cup of tea in the sweet quiet of this New Years day. An empty - TopicsExpress

A cup of tea in the sweet quiet of this New Years day. An empty candlestick from last nights celebration. And looking back on the final hours of 2014, a pensive moment with Deep, this cat who, with her twin brother Dusty, is perhaps the hardest thing to let go of in saying goodbye to this magical, enchanting and rather magnificent casa, Shanti-Alegria, that I built here as my Pacific island home at the turn of the century. After 38 years living in distant lands, its time to turn homewards. My grandchildren are calling me back to England, where my daughter already found a lovely cottage to buy just a mile away. Martina and I will live now between Prague and England. Were both happy and sad: Shanti-Alegria is our Shangri-La; but our lives, and our souls, belong to Europe. And for me, mixed with the heartache of this let-go is a relaxed excitement at all that it makes possible, especially in England. That chair is where I have been sitting this morning, pondering all of this over a cup of Earl Grey tea . So much of my work is about helping people to let go - whether it is of treasures they fear to lose (like life itself!) or old pains and sorrows that wont go away. For me, this is the biggest let-go in 30 years, when I released myself from being Oshos disciple. Thats another story that belongs to my second book: more on that, and the first one, in a later post. Yes, I know I said that one way or another, DYING NAKED would be published in 2014, but before I resort to self-publishing, Im still waiting to hear back from the publisher who has shown real interest. Cant be much longer! To you all, my love and my wishes that your 2015 may be rich with blessings, that you may find inspiration and encouragement to live your dreams, and that whenever life asks it of you, you can gracefully accept whatever let-gos come your way. Happy New Year!
