Today, I will take my Mothers ashes, and go and place them into the Ganga. Its hard to describe my Mother, unless you met her or knew her. She was a powerhouse of positivity and always, always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone. I dont know who she was in her previous life, but by all accounts, her life was blessed due to her previous pious activities. She worked tirelessly as a dress maker, and thousands of people today have in their possession, garments she put together, so expertly. As well as this, she cared for us, her four children, and Murray, my Father, maintained the household, cooked, cleaned, entertained, all with a beautiful smile on her face that refused to go away, even under the most harsh and trying circumstances. My prayer for you Mum, Shirley, is that you will forever remain firmly under the protection of Lord Sri Krishna.
