A day filled with celebrations, of sorts. Started the day with a celebration of live for Lovie Winslow. A truly classy lady, whose legislative shoes will always be hard to fill. Ill miss girlfriend lunch with Linda Ervin and Monica Williams with Lovie at the Nottingham. Ended my day with a celebration of life for a young man whose life ended far too soon. A SCSD student who my son knew. And on my mind all day my fellow veterans. While I dont think at the time we enlisted we knew how our service impacted a nation, each year on veterans day that service is celebrated, and I celebrate too. I miss my Army colleagues, and love you. Heres my annual shout out to my E Tower 11 Engineering Battalion brothers and sisters.
