A dear former student and worker at Adventist Media Center from the mid 70s to 80s passed away after a battle with so many challenges from diabetes and other complications: Brian Doherty of Nampa Idaho, one of my favorite young people (hell always be young to me). He represented the first of many teenagers with whom I was privileged to work with and supervise-- who lived with integrity, wit, humor, and loyalty to Adventist service though with observant criticism of politics and drama. Brian will awaken in a heartbeat to see Jesus sweet tender face and for the first time in Brians difficult life, he will be painfree and whole, and united with his dear family and his friends who loved him so much. Rest well, Brian. George and Nellie Vandeman will be happy to see you too!
