Yes, the popularly renamed vegetable oil is usually palm oil, and corrupt companies illegally deforest and destroy huge beautiful & ancient jungles while hiring mercenaries to abduct, torture and kill any indigenous natives that might have the nerve to say, Wait, this is my ancestral home. This is only a narrow view of the horrific crimes funded & perpetuated by multinationals like Wilmar- & dont even get me started on the extinction of orangutans in Borneo. Please make yourselves aware- every dollar you spend is a vote for practices somewhere... I dont think any of you would consciously choose to pay for jungles to be destroyed , natives to be tortured, murdered, and beautiful kindred species to be brutally annihilated. Wake up humanity. You are the problem. You are the solution.
