A few closing thoughts on Veterans Day. I am about to retire in my bed in a climate controlled dwelling on American soil.....not some God forsaken jungle or desert......Im thinking of all the veteran photos on FB today.......Im remembering the people I served with that one never forgets....Im thinking of the millions of Americans that have answered Freedoms Call down through its founding.....Im thinking of the politicians that need to have a real need, a real threat to America. not just a political whim to send our vets into harms way........Im thinking they should cut out some of the fluff programs and make sure if we do have to call on our young men and women......we give them the best........I want to thank the American people that in spite of all the chaos........will never give up our Freedom willingly..........most of all I thank God for watching over us and I will go to sleep with a prayer on my lips that we never.....ever forget.......when we stand with God..........we believe God stands with America..........sleep safely but sleep lightly.......those service people in the fields, jungles, mountains and deserts.........far from home but granting us that continued Freedom..........we salute you.....we pray for you.....
