A few days ago, I had some time between running errands, so I asked the Holy Spirit whom He wanted me to minister to. I felt a tugging inside of me to go and speak to two ladies sitting on a bench. We talked and laughed about all kinds of things, and one of them kept referring to both of them as “the crazy ladies you met in the park.” I spoke up and said, “I pray and see people healed. The Bible says that believers lay hands on the sick and they recover. Do you have any pain in your body?” One of them answered, “All the time! I have spinal stenosis, and fibromyalgia pain.” I asked if I could pray for her, and she was MORE than willing to allow me. With an amazed look on her face, she told me after prayer, “I don’t feel any pain anymore!” A man nearby had arthritis throughout his entire body, and the Lord removed all of his pain, as well. Love not only thinks of the immediate physical need of healing, but also, of the eternal destiny of people, so I said, “God did that for you because He loves you so much! How is your relationship with Him? Have you come to the place in your journey that you feel as if you know for sure that you will spend eternity with Him?” She responded, “I believe there is a higher power, so I guess I will go to heaven, but I don’t understand why He seems so distant. People have told me to meditate, and I would hear Him, but I never hear anything.” This dear woman had been searching for God for quite awhile! I explained to her that many times the Lord speaks to us through another person that He sends, and He sent me to her! I explained how she could KNOW the Lord, and have Him live inside of her by putting her trust in Jesus and calling on His name. When, I asked if she was ready to make a commitment to Him, both ladies said, “YES! I’m ready!” All heaven REJOICED as they gave their lives to Jesus! God put the desire in this lady’s heart to seek Him! THEN, he tugged on my heart, when I made myself available, to be the answer to her desires to know Him. I didn’t see a vision, although, I love visions. I didn’t hear an audible voice. I just felt that tugging or pull in my heart. Pay attention to the “tugs” in your heart. The Holy Spirit will lead you to those He is preparing for an encounter with Him. YOU can be the answer to someone’s desires, prayers, and needs! YOU can be their divine appointment!
