A few images from last nights litter-pick on Catbells. A stunningly beautiful evening to be out on the Lake District fells...just a shame that we have to tidy up after thoughtless people. As usual we found a fair selection of waste: Cans & cartons Plastic lids off drinks bottles Cigarette ends Sweet wrappers 2 pairs of knickers & 1 pair of underpants 1 T-shirt Loads of tissues (obviously used to wipe backsides) 2 piles of human excrement (one at a perfect picnic spot 2m from the main ridge path...) 12 bags of dog mess carefully placed into pooh-bags then lobbed into the bracken... Catbells is now ready for the holiday weekend...and it gave us an excuse to go to the Swinside Inn for fish & chips and a drink! Andy
