A few observations from todays supposed news: Doesn’t anyone beside me wonder what the hell it will take to make the republicans ever step up and say, “the President is right”??????? He promised to get Bin Laden and he did. Instead of getting us into yet another war, he was able to secure a disarmament agreement with Syria. He was even able to get Putin to help Iran has been a threat of our security for years. No one was successful at attempting to bring them to the table to even talk about ratcheting down the threat of nuclear war, but President Obama has at least got the talks going and again Putin is in agreement. Had President Bush done any of these things, they the GOP would have been holding ticker tape parades and throwing rose pedals at his feet. But not for President Obama, they call him weak!!!!!! Oh and the other GOP battle cry, you cant work with him, he wont negotiate!!!!!!! Now lets explore Christian Conservatives. First about being financially conservative: could you explain to me how the hell they think that going to war rather negotiating is conservative????? The GOP calls themselves the party that is for the family, yet they refuse to enter into any budget negotiations that do not include what they so love to call the big three “Entitlements”, Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. If war can be put on a credit card, why can’t taking care of your constituents be part of the long term debt???? The GOP calls themselves Christians. How is going into a country and killing countless thousands, when they haven’t attacked you or another country, Christian????? Based on how they sat quietly while President Bush brought us into 2 wars (no because of 911 and the other one based on lies), which were put on credit cards and they proudly voted to pass Medicare Part D which is also funded on a credit care, and was the single largest increase in “Entitlements” that this country has ever seen, conservatism only matters when there is a democrat in the White House and good Lord if he/she happens to be a democrat and black, spending had better be at pre world war 2 levels or they will shut the government down. That kind of logic could only be understood by the GOP spin masters.
