A few weeks ago I told you that Newbury Country Meats was opening and that they sold BACON! (I might have also mentioned that I am rather fond of BACON!). So on St. Patricks Day we go in and buy a steak, ground chuck and bacon. Bacon and ground chuck were unbelievably good, but the steak just blew us away! Rosemary will generally eat half her steak then I get the rest for steak and eggs the next day. Didnt happen... it was so good, she ate the whole thing. Then yesterday morning she tells me that I should stop and get more steak. Always doing what my honey tells me to do, I go and see Greg at his shop. His brother Terry is probably the best meat cutter Ive ever met and he literally cuts a new steak off for me. Now when I went into the shop, there was sunshine. It was snowing by the time I left and was a full blown snow storm by the time I got home. Rosemary comes home shortly after me and asks if I stopped for the steak. Yep, its upstairs in the fridge. She the announces to me that I will now grill the steak after she sees it . Its snowing like crazy I tell her. Wear a coat was her response. As previously stated, I always do what my honey says, I grilled it up last night. Even better than I remember! Guess its time to go back to Gregs shop!
