A few weeks ago we began working with Aakar Innovations, an organization that provides women in rural India with the necessary technology to manufacture biodegradable sanitary napkins. With more modern technologies, weve been able to deliver more comfortable, safer and 100% biodegradable napkins. The women at Barefoot were very excited to learn about the new machines, and begin working for themselves to distribute better pads to their own communities.
