A few years ago I had been burdened for a young man who was in a drug treatment center hopefully to overcome his addiction. I met him on a Sunday in my home church. As you know some people struggle and go back into their old ways and some succeed. This young guy was a preachers kid and knew what we believers wanted to hear, in time he left the program and pursued his old lifestyle. I just couldnt get him out of my mind. Mike and I travel a lot. Were from AR but our main office is in MO. One day we had gone up to conduct business and I decided to stay in the car in the parking lot..I began to pray for this young man. I remember very clearly calling his name out loud and saying, God where is he? I looked up and walking down the sidewalk in front of me, was this young man...Im shaking just thinking about it now. I stumbled out of the car and ran down the sidewalk after him, calling his name. He couldnt have been more surprised. I told him I had just called his name in prayer and asked God where he was and..here you are. He began to cry. I told him he must be pretty important to God and he should try one more time to kick this thing. He re-entered the program.. I know he re-entered a couple of times and became a staff member for awhile..saying all this as a reminder to myself especially today, God seeks us even when are not seeking Him and He is relentless. Thank God.
