A few years back I did some training near Sapporo, Japan. A Japanese Soldier tricked me into drinking some Snake Sake (wine with a dead poisonous pit viper in it) by telling me it was his familys ancient fruit wine recipe and I would dishonor him by not drinking it. In a recent episode of the Simpsons Homer drinks some Japanese Snake Wine and goes on a hallucinative adventure based on the fantastic movies of Hayao Miyazaki. This was my exact experience. Hahaha. Also, the episode focuses on comic books, and this weekend just happens to be the Lexington Comicon (March 14-16) with guests William Shatner, George Takei, Lou Ferrigno, Mick Foley, and others.
