A fitting day today to mark the worst week, worst month and probably easily the worst year. After 4 falls, two bites and a kick all in a month unfortunately I physically have been bashed around and really feeling it on the horse today. Two horses blew up in the atmosphere and unfortunatly couldnt be settled & the other two did nice tests except both gave me a loverly buck through the transitions and just had little moments but sitting around 11 th & 13th out of 30 at this stage, as many of you know Ive been struggling a lot with the horses lately , mentally more then anything and just finding myself and remembering the love of this sport - todays just one of those days where I need to remember the fun in the sport - although it doesnt feel fun right now. Bring on tomorrow on XC. Thanks Lachlan Kelso for always picking me up when Im down- and kicking my backside when I want to walk away. I love you!
