A friend of mine recently passed away and another friend ( Tricia) offered me her condolences and this was my response. I dont like posting stuff like this on facebook but he touched so many lives that I thought I would share this with the many that loved this man. Thank you so much! that means a lot. i think he was a good friend to many many people. He was talented, bright, intelligent, fun, all of those things but I feel he also had this way of making everyones life a little brighter. I remember you (Tricia) and I were talking at the bar about purpose and meaning (very existential) and you said something that I had difficulty subscribing to. You mentioned that our affect on the people around us helped us to create purpose and bring meaning to our lives. I think Adam Cope influenced so many lives in a positive manner. I think he helped make our lives much more meaningful and so much more valuable. There are many others who were much closer to him but I will always cherish our friendship. The ups and downs. He was a wonderful person that will be greatly missed.
