A “friend of mine” went to a nail salon yesterday for a pedicure. He felt embarrassed being the only man amongst a salon full of women. I assured “my friend” men need this service more than women yet conceded the experience caters to the other gender. I would offer that salons have an untapped revenue stream and should designate 3-5 chairs for men only. These chairs would be solid black in color facing a wall of flat screens fixed on ESPN. Wrap around trays (think sophisticated high chair) would have beverage compartments and bone holders to discard the remains of the 3 levels of spicy wings they will serve. The chairs will be placed close enough for a fist bump or high five should the need arise. The service menu will list all options under the category: Man Foot Improve. If a franchising opportunity develops I’d like to lay claim to the name BroNails (*TM).
