A friend of mines mother is battling stage II breast cancer. She is the sole supporter of her household with two small children. Being a government employee, she does not qualify for short term disability while she fights this illness. The housing management over their place has also raised their rent amidst all of this. The medical bills are piling up fast and with Christmas around the corner, they do not know what they are going to do. I know this is a horrible time of year to ask for donations, but anything you can give will help.
