A good analysis of a friend. Whose land it is anyway… We all make claims and offer proof that our ancestors lived on this land so we have the right to take it back. The truth is more complicated than this. The fact is that we all have stolen lands from one another. There is no innocent party here. We are all victims. We are all aggressors. It all comes down to who has the power or who is in majority. If we go back all the way to the beginning of the human history, we learn that we all evolved in Ethiopia and moved out of Africa to settle on the lands wherever and whenever we could find it regardless of the facts who was already living there. We butchered the inhabitants to get their lands. Muslims stole israel/Palestine from Romans. Romans had stolen it from Greeks. Greeks had stolen it form Persians. Persians had stolen it from Babylonians. The Babylonians had stolen it from Assyrians, who had stolen it from Jews. If you happen to read “the 5 books of Moses”, also called Torah, you will come to learn that Jews were not the only people living in the land of Israel/Palestine. There were many pagan tribes living side by side with the Jews. But Jews had no tolerance towards them. The armies of Moses, and Joshua carried out a campaign of total extermination of pagans by killing and terrorizing all pagan tribes. Torah tells that it was a campaign of genocide in which Jews totally wiped out all pagan tribes from Israel/Palestine, and claimed that Yahweh gave this land to Jews. They not only killed men, they killed married women, and male children too. They even killed their domestic animals, who had done nothing wrong. Torah is full of murders and killings of pagans. It is the confession of the Jews for the crimes that they committed against neighbouring pagans. SOLUTION: Forget who was there first, learn to live and co-exist. get rid of this nonsense of religion, and unite Israel, Palestine, west bank and gaza all into one secular and democratic state and live in it as one nation.
