A good brother of mine shared a video comparing the size of the universe to earth, and without a doubt the universe is huge. At the conclusion of this video the statement was made, You are not the center of the universe, but I beg to differ with their conclusion. Though in a physical sense we may be right or left, up or down from that center, God has us right in the center as far as importance goes. 3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, 4 What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? (Psalm 8:3-4) In all the immense universe all the importance is on this tiny little world and its inhabitants, man. Man is enamored with the universe, but the creator says He so loved the world... (John 3:16) What does all this mean? Just that when you consider everything out there you might realized just how immense Gods love for you is. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse (Rom. 1:20) I would like to say that God is the center of my universe. 16 For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. (Col. 1:16-17) Further I know that my Lord, Jesus is in heaven and if any man would accept it He is the, “…Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.” (Rev. 7:17) “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) Will you believe Jesus and let Him be the center of your life? He said, “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” (Mark 16:16) I hope you can! Glory and Praise and Honor forever and ever to the God of our creation.
