A good friend told me recently that I have a gift - that I know how to get peoples attention to issues & light a debate fire on social media or otherwise. I guess this person is right, but if that is the case then many I know have the same gift. The same fire. I speak my mind, no doubt. No one owns or will ever dictate or censor my opinions. My side or the opposing side not withstanding.They (my opinions) are what they are, as is the case with all of us. I just dont think of my opinions as being so special or better than anyone elses. They may, however, be more provocative at times....or not. I pray for kindness, humility & that Ill always extend humanity to everyone, no matter what - thats how I want to be treated. I pray for the strength to keep my emotions in check so that I can be fair & as objective as I can be when sharing my commentary. What else can one ask for? #myopinionisnobetterthanyours
