A group of American tourists made a trip to the Amazon River. After 3 days of rushing,they were shocked to find their native guides just sitting together refusing to go any further. When they asked their reason, the wise natives responded, "We are waiting. We cannot go any further until our souls catch up with our bodies." Yes, after just returning from a long trip, I have laundry to do, mail to sort, phone calls and emails to return, and the list goes on and on...But none is more important than caring for my soul....so thankful that whether my early morning view is the grand Pacific Ocean or the quiet beauty of my own little island backyard, I can spend time with God in His creation and in His Word allowing my soul to catch up with my body while experiencing His So Much More! Do you need to do the same today?
