“A guest house with boutique hotel flavor.” 5 of 5 starsReviewed 3 days ago NEW I have to be very precise when I write the review for this hotel. This review will be for room 25 which had two queen sized beds. While I arrived on a noon flight, my friend had arrived much earlier. Since the reservation was made on my name, check-in couldnt be done, but regardless of that, they kept the luggage and even offered breakfast while my roommate waited for me. Now thats service! The check-in/check-out process was quick and painless by the lovely, upbeat and helpful Miss Dash. What a charming young woman. Now to the room. Room 25 is located on the second level. You can either go up a flight of stairs or the elevator to the room which faces St. Phillip St. The room was small but very manageable. The beds were extremely comfortable, the bathroom was clean and functional (my only minor complaint was that the shower head was a little bit low) and the A/C worked perfectly. This hotel is well located out of the craziness of Bourbon St. while being located on it. It is walking distance to EVERYTHING and always felt safe. What really differentiates this hotel from others I have been in the French Quarter is their kitchen concept. They have a FULL WORKING kitchen that leads to their balcony, that is absolutely fantastic. Not only can you store what you buy, but is stocked (by the hotel and I guess, other guests) with many goodies. This was a first time experience for me. To watch other guests cook their own meals and then go to their rooms or eat at the balcony made me feel in a communion state. Priceless. This guest house is automatically on my will stay again here FOR SURE list. Dont expect a 5 star hotel. Expect 5 star service with a relax feel. Keep the good work!!!
