A guide to Halloween movie viewing on TV The countdown is on to Halloween and that means movies movies movies. If you have any kind of subscription television service, horror and science films will show up in abundance, pretty much starting this weekend and continuing right up until Halloween night and maybe even beyond. It’s a time when VCRs really come in handy because Dracula may be out for his midnight snack at the same time as Cujo wanting to be play a game of fetch with a Volkswagen, so you can record one movie and watch the other. There are hours and hours of movies to choose from, some great and some, well downright awful. The most popular annual fright events include AMC’s Fearfest; Syfy’s 31 Days of Halloween; ABC Family’s 13 Nights of Halloween and the Disney Channel’s Monstober.
