A happy ending... Sondra Abarr with Great Escape Rescued K9s and her husband came to see Grace. Sondra couldnt have been happier to see Grace and how well she has been cared for. The owners showed up a few minutes later, happy to get their beloved dogs back. They were very nice, made a donation to LAP Dog Rescue for keeping their dogs and also had Rocky, the one laying down, micro chipped. I would like to apologize again (and again and again) to Sondra. She followed all of my protocol and proved it with all her very well documented file on Grace. SHE DID REGISTER the micro chip. I am going to make a phone call to the micro chip company and try to find out why the 1st person listed was not called. I would also like to say that Sondra is a class act, very sweet and a great rescuer.
