A horrible accident took place in thane front of lodha paradise main gate near Mcdonalds which is almost 80 meters close to the terminating point of majiwadi flyover connecting godhbunder road to mumbai-nashik highway, a very dangerous spot because vehicles wishing to enter lodha paradise main gate must cross this flyover on which heavy vechiles and cars zoom at high speeds. I inquired with the official present there they told me that the accident happened coz the truck brakes failed and in order to avoid a four wheeler which was entering lodha the driver of the truck steered the vechile to its extreme left and lost balance as the tire hit a concrete block. Fortunately the truck driver, car and the car passengers were safe but had it nt been the presence of mind of the driver it wud have been a fatal accident for the passengers in the cars which was nt even 50 meters away from collision. So requesting people travelling on this road and wishing to stop by at mcdonalds or entering lodha/rustomjee to beware of this accident spot. Also requesting the officials to take notice of this accident and to kindly put speedbrakers and to install caution boards on the flyover to caution the drivers of the crossing ahead.
