A leading Islamic Bank in UAE is looking for experienced candidates for the following position. Ideally, you should be below 35 with a Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar. MIS Business Analyst - Candidates should be in UAE only. Responsibilities: • Prepare and verify MIS monthly & quarterly reports • Maintain and update related MIS hierarchies and business rules • Prepare a number of MIS performance reports for a number of business units • Prepare a reconciliation of bank-wide Balance Sheet and Income Statement figures coming from Oracle Financial Services Applications) versus Equation (current core banking sys.), then identify and explain the differences • Update the monthly check list for report verification • Verify that Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) results are reported correctly on a sample of products • Verify that cost allocation and segmentation rules are calculated and reported correctly • Communicate/ liaise with IT division and other related departments to resolve any data/ system issues related to data and /or reports and explain MIS and business requirements… Applicants should possess the following abilities: • Excellent Computer skills especially in MS Office: Excel, Word; etc. • Good knowledge and understanding of business performance reporting and MIS in general • Good knowledge of and experience in Management Accounting • Good knowledge of core banking systems and BI reporting tools in particular • Quality Orientation and Accuracy.
