A lesson was taught and learned today... Earlier this morning while I was on my routine jog, I turning onto my street from Olympic and half way down the block I was faced with a SUV that was speeding out of the driveway with the driver clearly not paying attention just yards away from me... In a split second I dodged to the left barley avoiding impact, fell to the ground leaving me with a sprained left ankle and a few cuts on my right knee... The lady that was driving rushed out to see how I was followed by what seemed to be her son... She was afraid that I was seriously hurt and that I might sue her but I quickly responded that I was ok (even though I was hurt) and that she didnt need to worry about me pressing charges... I told her that I have a mother too and that accidents do happen so I got up and gave her a smile while I brushed off my shorts... She turned to her son and said that she was wrong for what she has done and that she should of paid more attention and not have been in such a rush... What got me laughing was she also said to her son... Listen to that big Asian man... Hes a good man and grow up to be nice and strong just like him... My direct lesson to this kid may indirectly help thousands later on... Do a good deed and pass it on =) ... #PersonalDevelopment... OnE~
