A little Ziggy update, she gas continued to eat but has had 2 small regurgitations last evening and in the night. Early this morning she did a proper vomit of her food. Whilst vomiting she dislodged her iv making her vein in her leg and her leg sore and imflammed. Her temperature is higher than it should be and she is panting alot which they say could be due to her leg being painful or some of the food she vomited seeping into her airways and the start if pneumonia. They are giving her paracetamol for her temperature abd antibiotics. They have also increased the anti sickness drug she is on. On the positive side they say she has had a poo in the night an indication that things are starting to improve in her gut and they feel that she is still going in the right direction and that the sickness is still down to discomfort and acid burn in her oesophagus. I spoke to Brenda Piears this morning and she put it quite aptly before it was one step forward, two steps back and now it is a case of two steps forward and one step back. I hope you all dont mind my updates :)
