A little past midnight, I received word that my mother had just left this life. She had been in the process of dying for about a week, so the news was expected. However, even though she was 85, the news is painful. I couldnt get back to sleep, and it came to me to get up and randomly flip open the Bible. --The first thing I saw was: There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens; a time to be born and a time to die. --I flipped it open again and saw Jesus words in Mark 14: She has done a beautiful thing to Me . . . She did what she could. Both verses are very comforting to me right now. I thank God for His peace and His assurance that things are alright with my mother.
