A lot has been said about Bo Ryan and our Badgers lately but nothing can shake the memory I have of a hot day last August..my dad, a longtime friend of Bos, knew how great it would be for Hannah to meet him, Randy to see him again (he had worked several of Bos camps in Platteville) and for me to meet him again after so many years. Bo graciously welcomed us into his office at the Kohl Center and sat back recalling so many of the fun, good old days that he and dad shared. They talked about common friends, golf games, and family. I sat in complete awe as I looked around his office! There were pictures of present and past Badgers gracing the walls and a huge TV; no doubt to review games with players. I remember seeing his family pictures and realizing that Bo is all about family and friends and remembering where he came from. We left after a tour of the locker room. Hes a regular guy with a knack for good jokes. It was a day to remember and when dad told me he knew I was in awe because I didnt talk, he hit the nail on the head! So fun to have had the chance to get to know him! Lets Go Bucky!!
