A lot has changed since my oldest two were babies. Im learning so much with Kyle both heart related and regular baby stuff. One of the biggest changes is that its now recommended to keep kids in rear facing car seats til they are at least 2 yrs old. After learning what Ive learned Im keeping Kyle rear facing as long as possible...way beyond 2. Let me tell you this wont be easy either because he hates being rear facing NOW. With my older kids I literally counted down the days til they turned 1 so I could turn them around. Now all I can think is how grateful I am that we never got into an accident because God only knows what would have happened. Their heads are too heavy and their spinal cords will snap with a bad impact. Not worth the risk.
