A lot if people seem to be very mad over the How I Met Your Mother ending. I wanted to elaborate more from my last post. Spoilers a head obviously. While the mother was the perfect woman for Ted, life is never that fair or easy. Yes, a lot of this season 9 did not work. You can be frustrated that the whole season was wasted away in a 1 scene about Barney and Robins divorce. But Barney could never be reigned in and his arc was beautifully ended with the hole in his heart being his daughter. Again, this was the plan from the beginning so while yes the series probably went on 2-3 seasons too many, this was the motive from the start. Best to just accept it. Life isnt always fair; As is seen in this finale thematically and for some fans, literally.
