Whos Right,And Whos Wrong 12/17/2013 Philippians 2:11-13 King James Version (KJV) 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.this defines the individuality of each persons worship of our Lord.how we worship Him,how we obey Him,how we serve Him,is expressly of our own decision,whether we be right,whether we be wrong,it is up to Father,not other individuals to decide,orjudge.we have His word,as our guidelines,our instructions.but paul also said in; Romans 4:4-5 King James Version (KJV) 4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. what does this mean? it means to those who believe their good works will secure there place in eternity,with Father,they are rewarded here,on earth,by whatever they did,to gain personal glory,ornoticeof other men.and try to count that as being favored by God,the Father.it doesnt work that way.plain and simple.i can be the most wonderful man on this planet,and do the absolute best by every person i meet or encounter,or interact with,and NOT believe in Jesus Christ,who died,and was risen again,and never see eternity with Christ; Matthew 6:2 King James Version (KJV) 2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. how many examples do you need,before you believe? 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.i may never turn a hand,or ever help another brother and sister in Christ,with anything,but believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior,and i will spend eternity with Jesus; John 3:16 King James Version (KJV) 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. now,im sure,if you have the love of Jesus in your heart,and He is the Lord of your soul,you will not deny the desire to help others.for me,thats a given.paul was just making an example.a very important example in my opinion.that brings us back to; Philippians 2:11-12 King James Version (KJV) 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. we all have an individual relationship with Jesus Christ.He knows our hearts,our motivations,our desires,our faults,our very being.so paul accurately statedwork out your own salvation,with fear and trembling.what does this mean?it means its between you and God,not you and man.if you choose to participate in any type of worship,celebrate whatever holidays,attend whatever church,its between you and God.if you are in a relationship with Jesus Christ,the Holy Spirit will convict your heart,[sin consciousness],if you are in error.but so many stand at the ready,like a cocked gun,to shoot you down and call you wrong,because you dont worship as they do.generally,they dont know your heart.but Jesus does.and thats all that really matters,in His precious name,amen.God bless you all!
