A lot of people are going to say, Duh! but I better share this anyway for those who still have faith in the US Postal Service. ALWAYS buy tracking on packages you send. A few years ago you couldnt buy it for Media Mail but now you can. I shipped some books to a friend in San Francisco on February 20 and a couple of them arrived yesterday. The package was opened and picked through by a postal service employee in Bell Gardens, CA. Thanks to whoever picked up what was left and sent them to the proper destination, something is better than nothing, right? So for those not in the know, if there is no tracking information on it, its a red flag to dishonest mail sorters to go ahead and take what they want. I wouldnt have believed this would happen a few years ago, but now talking to people about it more and more similar stories have surfaced.
