A lot of people know that when I was 3 months old, I was adopted. (you know now if you didnt know...) I knew it from square one. And in 1991 when Eddie Vedder screamed out for release, release from his fathers rejection, I felt every single drop of pain that he belted out. Oh dear dad, can you see me now? I am myself, like you somehow. I can not watch Cameron Crowes Pearl Jam: Twenty and see these three minutes of the movie and not get a lump in my throat or feel the tears as they begin to well up. Children need to know that you are there for them in every way, they need to know that THEY are number one to you and that everything you do is to better THEM. If you have a child, from 1 to 51 years old... hug them today, kiss them, and tell them they are the meaning for your existence, they are your world. If you cant, call them and tell them you thought of them today and that you are so proud that they call you dad/mom. You have NO idea how much that will mean... no idea.
