A lot of us have a void in our heart an emptiness. Everyone one deals with it differently, some immerse themselves in prayers, some write poems, some paint or learn dancing, some focus on their job, some focus on their kids life, some take to drinks, some travel, some cook, some seek solitude, some seek company, some hide under laughter and some focus on helping others. No matter what we do the void is still there, the pain is still there, the yearning is still there, the numbness is still there, the scars are still there, getting sleep might become hard and waking up might be even harder, people may not understand, they might wonder why you are jumping out of a window for they do not know the fire that is threatening to burn you has engulfed your room and you are taking a leap of faith, but no matter how dark it may seem, we just have to know that nothing is permanent in this life and we can never afford to loose hope. For a heart that can feel tremendous pain, is also capable of feeling tremendous happiness and love. I sincerely wish all those who live with that void, may you find what you seek and fill it not with distractions but meaningful substances. Just hang on a little longer, everything is going to be alright.
