A lovely couple of days at the MKC for myself and Sheldon. It was quite a change to attend without stewarding or unfortunately in this case, not exhibiting. Still I got to take some nice photos on Friday and Saturday, mainly in the Gundog ring with a few in the General specials Ring on Friday. Huge number of shots from the Cocker Spaniel Club Show on Saturday. Sheldon had a ball socialising with all sorts of people and dogs. It was an essential part of his recovery from his unfortunate recent experiences. Attending the show was approved and recommended by Dr Andrew Dunn of the Adelaide Veterinary Specialist & Referral Centre who has been looking after Sheldon so well over the past few weeks. It is unfortunate that one Cocker exhibitor was very vocal in saying that he shouldnt be there without saying anything to me. Perhaps they know better than one of the top Veterinarian Surgeons in Adelaide. Next time, ask me first before shooting your mouth off T......, word does get back!!!! Thank you to everyone who asked about Sheldon, spent time to give words of encouragement and gave him cuddles and pats. He will be back in the ring.
