A message from The School District of Philadelphia, Office of Family & Community Engagement Dear colleagues: We are very excited to be offering our first Title I parent training for the year in a couple weeks. We will offer two sessions to accommodate different schedules: 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10th at the District’s Education Center, Room 1075 (440 N. Broad Street) and 10:00 a.m on Thursday, December 11th at Parkway Center City High School (540 N. 13th Street). Both sessions will be facilitated by Bonita Allen, a parent trainer and Parent Engagement in Education consultant for Pennsylvania Department of Education. This is a great training opportunity for parents and parent leaders who want to help their schools improve compliance with Title I parent engagement requirements.
