A month ago, I took a GIGANTIC leap of faith and moved to The City of Angels, Los Angeles. My friends said, Wow! You are so brave! Even my acupuncturist, Joseph, was amazed. He said, “Wow! You are so lucky you have the means to move to LA!” “Well, actually the move will be expensive; I will need to get a job once I move to LA,” I said. “No,” he said. “By means, I don’t mean money. I am mean that you are lucky that you have the will to move. Most people don’t have that. They stay wherever they are, even if they are unhappy, because they don’t have the means to change. You are lucky!” My heart was yearning for a change, and I listened. Moving here was one of the best decisions of my life. I am SO happy here. I have finally found a place where I belong. Today on Thanksgiving I spent the afternoon in the warm sunshine relaxing by the pool. The sun shined its magnificent rays on me warming me. The sky was a beautiful, cerulean blue and the clouds were white and puffy and full of expression. I saw so many inspirational images in the sky, and even several rainbows. It was a blessing! And a beautiful, euphoric afternoon! I am so grateful to be so relaxed, peaceful, joyful, and stress-free. How often do we think of holidays as being stress-free? This is my first Thanksgiving in LA and I realize that I am truly thankful. Already I have made wonderful new friends, strengthened old friendships, and have spent time getting to know relatively new friendships even better. I have found deep peace and joy. I am back to meditating daily and going for long walks. I have been called for lots of auditions. For my first film audition, I got the part! The entertainment industry has welcomed me big time. In fact, I will be performing again soon. Get ready! I will be performing in Cakebatters First Annual Funny Women Festival on Friday, December 5 in my new neighborhood, Hollywood. :) I am SO excited! I am so happy to be getting back into standup! I hope you will join me. I am so thankful that I followed my heart and moved to The City of Angels. I am grateful for new beginnings. I am grateful for the sunshine and warm weather. I am grateful for all of my wonderful friendships and all of the great food here. I am grateful for my friend, Dayna, who has taken me under her wing. I am grateful for feeling peaceful, joyful, hopeful, and expansive. I am grateful that I feel free. I am grateful for my health, my loving family, and for all of my support and blessings. I am grateful for following my heart and intuition. I am grateful for you. What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving? Enjoy your many blessings and all of your rich abundance. Wishing you so much JOY!
