A note from my dear cousin Jenn sums it all up: Just got home from a whirlwind trip to Virginia for my Uncle Chucks funeral (my moms brother). Though the circumstances were the worst, thats when my family shines the brightest. We were blessed to have this time together to honor a great man, one who lived a full life and shared it deeply & generously with many. He was joyfully married to my Aunt Anne Marie Ajemian for 47 years. Awesome eulogies today from his sons Charles Ajemian and Erik Ajemian, while Uncle Chuck laid in the handcrafted pine box his five sons made for him last week, including Jean-Claude Ajemian Jason Ajemian & Lucas Ajemian. My sister Mary Ann Scipioni Stewart shared her gorgeous voice on Ave Maria and led us in a soulful rendition of The Lights of the City, with my cousin Lee Britt accompanying on piano and brother Joe Scipione on guitar. Jane OLoughlin, Nina Scipione, Kevin Patrick Scipione and I even sang backup. It was a special song to him and I think he wouldve loved it. This article shares a glimpse of my Uncles life, though the hundreds of neighbors, friends & family who came to share their memories, stories and love reveal the best reflection of him. It was evident to us all what a gift his life was to us, may he rest in peace.
