A number of years ago I belonged to a now-defunct Message Board for online Ex-Catholics. We used to have frequent visits from still practicing catholics, 99% who just wanted to argue, and who just COULD NOT understand Scripture outside of what they had been taught in catholicism. (I firmly beleive that they can, if they ask God for the TRUTH, but pride keeps blinded) They were always besides themselves with fits of laughter over anyone broaching THIS topic. I wonder if they are still laughing? I hope not....cause its at our doorstep.
