A parent shares with our group: Having a pity party today and no one can relate but you guys. As if being a mother isnt hard and trying enough, I often question why things cant be easier with our SPD kids. Why every little aspect has to be so hard. We havent even gotten an eval yet so Im sure easier days lie ahead. Factor in my extreme seeker who is having problems being still and quiet at school, possible ODD as well, 2yo who is showing sensory issues as well, both kids only want me, husband avoids the difficult issues altogether, no one else can handle our two kids so we get the breaks we need, and for the past year Ive been in constant neck pain due to ruptured discs. I literally want to hide. Someday I want to wake up and find my children are grown! Sorry for the vent, but everyone else is so tired of hearing it and cant understand why I cant just fix it all
