A person stopped into the Edgefield, SC build location and mentioned the use of Emmons Off Road Rescue Systems in the mining industry. While having done some rescue work in the coal mining areas of West Virginia, it is a foreign environment to me, and my understanding of specific mining operations, challenges and dangers will need to be increased. Apparently, the gentlemen was onto something with two requests for mine rescue applications for the Balistica. Excited about the prospects, as a new build begins. I think a dedicated unit may be in the future, perhaps not so distant.
