A piece for thought! This work (created by Jerome Bel) was performed at New York Live Arts last fall. The piece is a curated presentation of actors with mental disabilities performing dances they choreographed to music of their choice. Before the piece each actor is asked to introduce themselves by name, age and profession and to describe their mental disability to the audience. At the end of the work each actor is asked to give his or her opinion about the piece as a whole. Only 7 of the 10 actors were chosen to dance. This work has been performed all over the world including ImPulsTanz.
