There are many magical musical moments happening at Ferry Beach Park Association this week, some simple, some complex. This morning the confluence of misty sunrise on the surf, my daughter and her curiosity about the bagpipes was just too much to resist. My iPhone ran out of memory after a minute or so. Note the mystical looking apparition paddling out beyond the surf. Tonight I get to help some 6 to 9 year olds kids sing a song we wrote together, perhaps do a little rehearsal with baritone sax and piano on a swing arrangement of a hymn for tomorrow morning, and maybe a little Whiskey Before Breakfast and other oldtime faves with banjo and guitar tonight too.
