It is that simple, together we can change lives.” Stephen Lay, Rotary International District 1290 Governor, covering West Devon and Cornwall in SW England will be launching the song and fund raising initiative on Rotary TV. He says: We are very proud that Rotary started ShelterBox in this District. Rotarians have seen first-hand the devastating effect of disasters, conflict and poverty in the Philippines and on refugees from Syria. Their stories absolutely reinforce the need for sustainable solutions that can be delivered through the support of The Rotary Foundation. “This is what Rotary is all about: helping others. We have 1.2 million members worldwide all of whom focus on just that. They may deliver by giving time; their skills or helping to fundraise. Using the power of social media we want to engage Rotarians and peoples across the world to change lives by asking each to ‘click, click’, that’s all it takes!” Shane Solomon who sings “Christmas Time (Children Sing)” and has created the single and music video says: “I’ve been working with Rotary for a few years, and am amazed by the vast amount of humanitarian work they do at home and abroad. It just seemed right that we do this for Rotary and their global charity The Rotary Foundation. The idea of the Christmas single evolved, and here we are!
