A prayer for my friends and me: Precious Lord, take my hand. Im weary after a long day. Help me release my cares into your hand and pillow my head on your promises. Cover me with your tender mercies and reminders of your faithfulness until I know that I know youve got me and my challenges. Help me be convinced that that more rests on your shoulders than on mine, so I can rest in the comfort your grace and trust in the power of your wisdom and love. I know that the One who watches over me never sleeps, never slumbers. So I can afford to sleep deeply and sweetly tonight. Help me do just that, and wake up full of expectancy, ready to face the day tomorrow, still hand in hand with you. Amen.
