A question from our inbox: I am pregnant with my 3rd, due April 10th, and have been trying to find solid research and risks regarding VBACs after having to have a low-vertical C-section* but havent been able to come up with much except that the risk of rupture goes from 1% to 10%... Does your group have any more information than that? or are there any ladies who have had a successful VBAC after a vertical C-section? I will also be (gulp) 42 when the baby is born, so Im considered AMA, so while my OB is not adamantly pushing me to have a C-section, hes not exactly encouraging a VBAC either. (*I had complete and anterior placenta previa with my last one, so it was necessary and hence the low-vertical incision). Thanks! #ICANSupport
