A reader asks, Our town fluoridates our water […] What water or filtering system do you recommend to buy to avoid the fluoride all together? My home has fluoridated water, so we use a Berkey Filter with Fluoride Filters. The fluoride filters should be replaced about every 10 months but the carbon filters (which remove chlorine) last indefinitely with proper care. This is the most economical option weve found for removing fluoride from drinking water.
