A really good person and someone that I call a friend (if you know me then you know theres few people I use that word on) pulled me aside today and asked what has significantly changed in my life in the last year or so. She said there is something she cant quite put the finger on but its noticeably different and definitely for the better in me. I explained it as change in mindset and very briefly went on saying that I try to look for the good in everything. I learned to let the bullshit roll off my back and Im confident that there isnt a challenge I cant handle. One of my many new years resolutions for 14 was to give more of myself to God. Ive slacked lately in church but Im living in constant good deeds and I try to always be thankful for every piece of this life Im blessed with. Ive let the past go and right now Im somewhere in between trying to find the place Im trying to go, shit its actually hard enough to figure the next step half the time because this moment right now is very distracting. Im blessed to be in the moment Im in with the company thats getting my time. Im blessed to receive the constant support and uplifting behind the scenes. I got just a few people that make me smile but those smiles drive me to be better. I got goals and everything is realistic because it is all with baby steps. Life is short, Ive lost a bunch of friends Ive lost at love and more than a few times came close to losing myself. Im here and I aint going nowhere. Im my own guiding light and Im shining myself upward. So much has changed in my life in the last year or so and I realize that much of it is under control of powers much greater than I and wonderful things have been planted in my life. All I can do is be myself, be thankful and hope to be lucky enough to continue riding this high. I hope this is a better answer for you friend and I hope you dont mind that I decided to give it to you publicly. I hope your blessings continue as well, you been on a good run yourself and I see you shining too. Whoever actually took the time to get to this sentence... Thank you and god bless :)
